NK Racing was formed in 2000 as a hobby making custom parts and building bikes. The hobby quickly grew and by 2003 I had a decision to make,
"either the hobby scales back, or the day job has to go!" fortunately, the day job went, (I didn't like it that much anyway!)
NK Racing went full time working from my garage at home, then in 2005 I moved into my first industrial unit. This has now expanded repeatedly until now in 2021 I am in 2000 sq ft.
Based in the Village of Stoney Stanton, in SW Leicestershire, We have 3 adjoining industrial units totalling 2000 sq. ft of space, comprising of a CNC machine shop, fabrication workshop, and a build-up area with a small retail display room and design office.
Visits by prior appointment only
I have ridden motorcycles all my adult life, and from the very first one I owned, a Honda MT-5 which I crashed within 4 hours of owning, I have been adding my own ideas to them ever since. In the early days, this was to repair and cover up crash damage. More recently it has been to add my own ideas to what was there in the first place. In the 1990's when I really started to modify bikes, I found that getting people to make what you wanted and sourcing parts and services needed was very hard. As a result I started learning the skills needed to provide those parts and services I needed myself. At that moment, NK Racing was born. Initially as a hobby, then from 2003 as a full time business.
HURCO VM5i Machining Centre
One off prototyping work undertaken
Manual machining and turning work also catered for.
Our Motoliner frame jig. Brings the ability to check frame, swing arm and wheel alignment. Straighten any misalignment, alter geometry if required. To make chassis and engine conversion work as precise as the original factory.
With a full suite of R-Tech AC/DC TIG Welders, Digital MIG welding including aluminium. Plasma cutting, induction heating, most materials can be welded on site. Metal fabrication equipment, folding, bending, bead rolling, guillotining are all available in our fabrication shop.
Probably the type of work we do most of. Some call it fitting square pegs into round holes, but generally it is converting existing chassis components eg frames, swing arms, front fork assemblies, to fit into other set ups or to do different jobs. Sometimes for performance reasons, sometimes for aesthetic reasons. The one thing they have in common is that they have to work, work well, and work safely. This is what we do best!
Whilst over the years I have specialised in Japanese two-stroke motorcycles and race replica bikes, anything is possible with the only limits being your imagination and your wallet.
Whilst much of the production work done is CNC based, sometimes there is no substitute for manual machining or turning, including cutting custom threads. No part too small from a simple wheel spacer to a complex stem with multiple threads
We are very happy for you to visit us in person, often more can be achieved that way, but as we are primarily a manufacturing facility, visits must be by appointment only

I do not have the resources to maintain a web shop with up to the minute stock levels. 95% of everything I sell, I physically make here in the workshop. Keeping an online shop stocked and up to date is a full time job in itself. I don't want people to order things without knowing whether it's available or not, and if not, how long it will be before I can make it. As a result, ordering can be done in the following ways:
